Halloween: Robot vs. Owl
My two boys inspire me everyday. My older child, Chris, is a tween so he is still sweet and my younger one, Matt, is only two and half so he is my baby. Chris is at an age where he wants to be independent so he'll do his own thing for Halloween, but Matt, he is still young enough that I can make his costumes for couple more years. Now that I have just finished designing all the Halloween invitations for this year, I was in the mood for Halloween. So I asked Matt what he wanted to be for Halloween, thinking he really don't know what he wants. (Last year he was introduced to "Trick or Treat" and had his first candy). To lead him into the idea of Halloween and since he likes robots, I asked him, “Would you like to be a robot?” He pondered it for a full second and said, "Yes, a robot or owl". "Owl? As in bird?" I just wanted to make sure I heard him right. He is only two and half and he still can't pronounce everything correctly. "Yes! Owl!" He confirmed with a big smile. So I asked him why an owl and he exclaimed proudly, "Up late like Mommy and Daddy!" So I am doomed in the near future since he'll become a night owl and I'll never sleep like I had no kid for a long time to come. But as weeks went by he finally settled down to the idea of being a robot. For now, I am happy with that. Are you in the mood for Halloween? Check out my Halloween and Fall Pages! These are two of my favorite designs:
